Rhe McLaughlin
As Chief Operating Officer, Ms. McLaughlin supports executive decision-making, program management, and routine operations. Her areas of focus include organizational, administrative, and strategic opportunities. In addition, she works closely with senior management to enhance internal capabilities, and to position the organization for new opportunities.
Ms. McLaughlin has more than thirty years experience in public education as a teacher, principal, district administrator, and assistant superintendent. She joined Foundations in 2002 as director of evaluation for afterschool programs, during which time she facilitated the revision and development of the Quality Assurance System® (QAS®), an online evaluation and program improvement tool for expanded learning programs. Ms. McLaughlin served as Associate Executive Director for the Center for Expanded and Afterschool Education where she led the planning, design, implementation, and management of afterschool programs serving children and youth from pre-school through high school, and oversaw implementation of department strategies and staff work plans.
Ms. McLaughlin has a Master's degree in special education and has completed extensive post graduate work in education administration at Temple and Widener Universities.
