The Northwest Philadelphia-based KidZone PHILADELPHIA recently welcomed people of all ages to celebrate family at its free event, “Celebrating Fatherhood: A Day for Parents, Grandparents, Caregivers and Youth.” Community members heard local speakers and participated in discussions about the important role that fathers play in society. Participants enjoyed raffles, giveaways, food, exhibits, and information and resource tables. |

(Philadelphia, PA) – On Tuesday, September 4, 2007, the Northwest Philadelphia-based Parent Teacher Zone welcomed approximately 1200 people of all ages to help break ground at its new space next door to KidZone and to celebrate the forthcoming school year. The Parent Teacher Zone, a new program aimed at facilitating stronger relationships between parents and teachers, has acquired additional space in the Ogontz Plaza and hosted a family festival featuring free food, music, crafts and fun-filled activities for kids, teens, parents and teachers. |
