Dear Friends,
As Foundations' 10th anniversary Beyond School Hours® conference
comes to a close, we want to thank all of you for making the event
a huge success. It was truly the preeminent annual event in the
afterschool industry. And you made it happen!
Feedback this year has already been overwhelmingly positive. Participants
took full advantage of the many networking and professional development
opportunities at hand through our dynamic workshops and keynote
addresses presented by leaders in the field, exhibits on the latest
products and trends, and fabulous site visits of model afterschool
programs.
Best of all, we were captivated by the remarkable
Dr. Maya Angelou in her opening keynote address. From audience members to those
who worked with her behind the scenes, everyone was touched by
her wisdom and sheer presence. She is, indeed, an enormously inspiring
Renaissance woman. We are so grateful that she could join us.
