Become a CACE Partner Trainer
CACE Partner Trainers work under contract with the Center for Afterschool and Community Education (CACE) at Foundations, Inc. to co-facilitate dynamic, hands-on CACE professional development sessions for afterschool educators.
If you are… …an experienced afterschool educator …a skilled facilitator for large and small groups of adult learners …enthusiastic about working with afterschool staff across the country
… apply now for one of a limited number of opportunities to gain certification as a CACE trainer.
A new CACE Partner Trainer Program will be offered beginning at Foundations' Beyond School Hours X conference in North Carolina with 12 hours of session time. After satisfactorily completing a fully-co-facilitated session (with CACE) at a later date, Partner Trainers will be ‘on call' for contracted training work through Foundations. (Details provided in application packet.)
The Trainer program includes:
Three training sessions (participants must attend all three)
- Wednesday, February 7, 2007 - 11:30 to 4:30 PM, including the BSH pre-conference, Afterschool Education: Essentials of Practice
- Thursday, February 8, 2007 - 2:00 to 6:00 PM
- Friday, February 9, 2007- 8:30 to 11:30 AM
