Our Approach

Foundations offers a comprehensive set of services that assists schools in improving student performance. We work with both new and established schools to address challenges in academic performance, student life, and operational effectiveness, as well as parent and community involvement.

No matter what the service or assistance we are called on to provide, our approach is to work as collaboratively and inclusively as possible with your entire school community. Whether providing technical assistance, professional development, or customized workshops, we tailor the support we provide to meet your unique needs. We offer our clients the option of selecting the priority services they need from a comprehensive menu.

This comprehensive menu includes our proprietary assessment tool, OSASIP™, which we developed, in part, with funding from the U.S. Department of Education. Using a rubric scale to rate schools on “observables,” we can quickly develop a thorough understanding of your school’s practices, conditions, and behaviors.

Working closely with your team, we use this information to assess school effectiveness, develop improvement plans with timelines and implementation strategies, measure school performance and student achievement, and provide follow-up services.
